Points of Interest in the A-1 Lawn Contract

 

P3 “A-1 will retain responsibility for their own ‘dump fees.’”

 

P3 “A-1, within 14 days of the date we receive notice of damages, will replace, or have repaired at our expense, all damages to … sprinkler systems, lawns… caused by the operation of our equipment….”

 

P4 “…either party retains the right to cancel this contract with 30 days written notice.”

 

P6 “The property will be maintained and inspected on a weekly basis.”

 

P6 “Litter accumulation and other debris will be picked up prior to mowing.”

 

P6 “A-1 will provide routine fertilization and pesticide services to all turf areas.”

P6 “All shrubbery will be fertilized twice annually.”

P7 “A-1 will be responsible for recognition, diagnosis of lawn damaging insects and at all times be alert for outbreaks of such infestations. All service calls needed between application of proper treatment will be included in contract price.”

P7 “A fire ant bait treatment program (four treatments per year) is included in this contract at no additional cost.”

 

P8 “The irrigation system will be run in its entirety once per month for monthly monitoring.”

P8 “Any other corrections needed to bring system to proper service level will be billed as repairs at a cost of $35 per hour plus parts.”

P8 “Any damage caused to system by A-1 will be repaired at no cost to HOA only after A-1 and the community representative have looked at the damage and have mutually agreed, without doubt, what or who caused the damage.”

 

P9 D. “Certain shrubs (ie: crepe myrtles, oleander, etc) will be pruned as recommended by Florida Landscape Maintenance Association and/or Florida Department of Agriculture guidelines.

 

P9 B. A fire ant bait treatment program (four treatments per year) is included … at no additional cost.

 

P10 “All gardens will be as weed free as possible utilizing both mechanical and approved chemical methods.”

P10 “Pruning of trees will be limited to heights within reasonable reach… (* using a 12 foot pole saw.)

P10 “Shaping, topping, or internal pruning to thin canopies is not part of this contract nor is emergency pruning and/or major clean-up because of storm damage.”

P10 “Sucker growth… will be removed.”

 

P11 “Monthly Walk-throughs with the Representative of the Association Management Team will be granted upon request and should be scheduled through the A-1 Office by appointment.”

P12 “Any additional landscape activities such as planting of new shrubbery, planting annuals, trimming of palms, mulching, etc. can be accomplished through A-1 at rates negotiated prior to the commencement of work.”

 

P13 “Base cost of $8,620.00 per month includes all the services described above.”

 

P13 “Any bills unpaid beyond the due date will be subject to a 5% late payment penalty.”
