December 2008: 

* Rich and Ellen replaced 1 rotary & 4 pop up sprinklers on 54th ST, and 5 riser pipes and straightened most sprinklers.  

* Alex and Rich separated the 2 zones that were piped together, also found & repaired the problem with the wires in the control clock on 54th ST. 

* Rich and Ellen - Installed new fence on 44th ST into pond to stop vandalism which many people complained about in the last few months. 

* Rich and Ellen - Installed new light on wall on 53rd AV. 

* Rich and Ellen - Trimmed large branch on 43rd ST over sidewalk posing hazard to walkers & bicycles. 

* Rich and Ellen - Redid landscaping on south west entrance of 43rd &47th.

* Angelo & Rich & a couple of other volunteers removed the pepper trees from the ditch between the Estates & Glenn Lakes for which there was an estimate of $ 5,600 dollars.

January 2009: 

* Rich and Ellen - Corner of 53rd & 51st ST removed 6 stumps of trees that were removed previously, also removed 2 large fern trees that were tipping over, & 1 pine tree that died. Replanted 3 small cedar trees to replace them, & extended the irrigation to them. Hauled many loads of top soil with golf cart to fill the stump holes.

* North east corner of 53rd &51st ST to upgrade the landscape. Also removed dead plants on 51st ST behind Rick Finley’s house which died due to irrigation not working. Repaired the problem replaced 3 rotary sprinklers & repaired 1, will replace shrubs in the next couple of days.

* Planted 6 crotons, 16 ixora, 2 Christmas Palms & relocated 10 of the original crotons on the south east corner of 51st & 53rd.

* Planted 16 bushes on the common area behind 5171 51st lane (behind Rick Findley's) also replanted the grass on both sides of the berm.

* Planted grass on 54th at the ditch it is nice & green already.

* Trimmed the pepper trees back to the fence on 51st at 52nd.

* Alex, Angelo and Rich worked on the tree in the center of the road on 50th Av. They removed 10 garbage cans of roots & junk, because the roots from the tree had already broken the curbing in 4 places. They planted 121 plants around the tree which were donated, all at no cost to the association. 

* Kyra Hatke – picking up trash along 43rd and 44th ST  

February 2009:

* Rich and Ellen - Work on 43rd ST - entrance trimmed palm trees, added extra blocks to the pillars, purchased round balls to set on top of pillars, filled them with spray foam so they wont be smashed, cleaned up a lot of junk in the bushes…

* Planted 2 evergreen shrubs & 3 ixora bushes, plus transplanted 10 crotons from the tree in the center of the road to the entrance of 53rd & 51^st. All were donated.

* Repaired 1 pipe & 2 pop ups, plus trimmed 1 tree that was over the fence & hanging in a homeowner’s yard off of 43rd ST.

* Kyra Hatke – picking up trash along 43rd and 44th ST.

* Ellen & Rich planted 17 shrubs at 53rd & 51st

* Ellen & Rich planted 15 ficus bushes & extended the irrigation 50 ft. & installed 3 pop up sprinklers on 43rd St. for Amellio & Betty Pitt.

* Replaced 1 rotary sprinkler at 53rd & 51st

* Replaced 1 rotary sprinkler on 51st lane w.

* Repaired a 1 1/2 in. line on 51st ST. & cleaned & straightened & adjusted 10 rotary sprinklers & replaced 2 rotaries

* Repaired a broken pipe on 47th ST. entrance, & replaced the rotary sprinkler

* Replaced 2 pop up sprinklers on back side of lake behind Carmin’s house

Bob, Kyra, Ellen, & Rich removed the vineing shrubs on 52nd Av. inside the wall to get ready for painting. They also bundled 47 bunches of brush & picked up 15 barrels of trash & roots, cans & bottles. Then raked the area.

March 2009:

* Ellen & Rich finished the north east corner of 53rd & 51st we spread 65 bags of red mulch to finish.  They have started on the north west side.

* Kyra, Ellen, & Rich,  Helmut & Dorota cut down a large oak tree that has been dead for over 2 yrs. at the south end of the tennis court & bundled up the brush & cleaned up.

* Ellen & Rich also cut & cleaned up a pine tree that was dead on the south end of the pond by the fountain. 

* They replaced 5 rotary & 4 pop ups behind the lake on 50th Av

* Ellen & Rich planted 28 shrubs at the north end of tennis court & 6 fackahatchee grass like the other 2 corners.

* They are also going to repair the screen fencing at the north end of the tennis court which is the right side when you enter.

* Kyra has been picking up trash along the length of 43rd St and around the lake every 1-2 weeks for the past several months.
