GLENN LAKES HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC. BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING ANNUAL MEETING MARCH 30, 2007 MINUTES (unapproved)
No meeting was held due to a lack of a quorum
IN ATTENDANCE: In Person: 44, By Proxy: 29, Total: 73
To establish a quorum, a total of 165 homes needed to be represented.
* The next Board Meeting is tentatively scheduled for: Tue. April 24, 2007 at 7:00PM.
Prepared By,
Dane A. Parsons Community Association Manager
* This “unapproved” correction was made by Board Member Floyd Winters = = = President Nancy Perry stated there was no quorum and notified all present that they could go home.
After a few residents in the back left, Board Member Floyd Winters encouraged all of those present to stay and unofficially discuss security issues at Glenn Lakes. About 40 residents discussed issues such as speed bumps, fencing, modifications of shrubbery, lighting, and cameras. With the exception of one resident, all present indicated that they were in favor of speed bumps. A number of people wrote down their names and volunteered to allow speed bumps to be placed in front of their homes. Several people volunteered to research fencing and modifications of shrubbery in an effort to enhance security.
Additionally, the topic of our management company was brought up by residents. A survey of approximate 40 residents indicated that no one present had confidence in our current management company, and many in the audience shared negative views about the performance of our property manger.
After nearly an hour of discussion, this informative but informal meeting ended.
